Sandgate Squash Fixtures

Sandgate Squash Centre has teams in MONDAY, TUESDAY and THURSDAY night Squash Brisbane fixtures with grades listed from C3 right through to A1. To register an interest in joining a team or forming your own team, contact the centre and we can provide further details. All fixtures players receive a free Sandgate Squash playing shirt.

Nighttime - New River City Squash Summer 2009/10 season has commenced and goes through until Grand Finals in March 2010. Sandgate has 12 nighttime teams.

Monday: B1

Tuesday: 2 x A3 teams, B2 & C2

Thursday: Premier, A1, A2, A3, B3, C1 & C2

Sandgate Squash Centre has for the last 3 years has supported players from the Australian Institute of Sport playing Fixtures. This season Zac Alexander (a 2009 scholarship holder), Jake Alexander (a 2009 scholarship holder) and Rachel Smith (former scholarship holder) will play Thursday night Premier grade.

Also former World No. 7 in back in Brisbane playing for Sandgate in Premier grade.

1998 – member Commonwealth Games team  Gold medallist Mixed Doubles with Michelle Martin

 

As a player, he reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 7 in 1996. He won a Gold Medal in the mixed doubles at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, partnering Michelle Martin. Craig was also runner-up in the men's doubles at the inaugural World Doubles squash Championships in 1997, partnering Dan Jenson.
