Sandgate Squash Juniors

Junior squash fixtures are on held on Saturday mornings. All draws and results can be accessed through the Squash Matrix www.squashmatrix.com

Sandgate Squash Centre is highly committed to the development of junior squash and is registering teams in the J1, J2, and J3 grades.  Colts is currently an in house comp played at 10.30am Saturday Morning.

For juniors looking for court time outside of fixtures, Sandgate Squash offers a casual junior hitting rate of $5 (includes racquet hire) any day before 5pm.  

FREE coaching is offered every Tuesday from 4pm for primary school students - during school terms, with Nathan Turnbull (Level 1 Coach, Referee at 2006 Commonwealth Games, QF 2007 Australian Open, Premier Grade #1 with Scarborough & currently ranked #16 in Australia & #179 in the world).

Coaching for Secondary Students is from $pm to 5.30pm on Wednesdays - cost $2

High Performance Junior training is Friday from 4pm to 6pm - cost is $6.

Private coaching available upon request, $35 per hour for juniors.

Junior Highlights in 2011

Sandgate win all three divisions in the junior Winter competition.

Sandgate supplies 16 junior for Brisbane Junior Team which wins state titles.

Jess, Leanne and Luc selected in Qld Team which wins Australian Titles.

Nat, Jarrod and Daniel in Qld Schools Team.

Jess wins State Schools title.

Jess selected in u/19 Australian team and travels to Boston for World Championships. She loved Harvard.

Jess comes 2nd in 17 and 19 events at States and 2nd in 17's at the Australian Junior Titles.
